Night work (sewer) on Glisan and Burnside

From the City of Portland Environmental Services division:

Environmental Services is applying for a noise variance to allow open trench work at night at the locations indicated on the above map. Night work is needed because of the high daytime traffic volumes along these streets. Normal construction hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Work after 6:00 p.m. and before 7:00 a.m. and all hours on Sundays requires a noise variance. The project is estimated to start this winter.
