Meeting to plan NE 53rd & Couch appeal: Thursday, Feb. 16

There will be a meeting Thursday, Feb. 16, from 6:30-7:30pm at 5921 E Burnside (Providence House) to plan testimony for the hearing Tuesday, Feb. 21, in support of North Tabor Neighborhood Association’s appeal of portions of the proposed project at the SW corner of NE 53rd and Couch. Neighbors who would like to comment in writing or in person are invited to attend the planning meeting Thursday 2/16 and if possible to testify at the hearing Tuesday 2/21.

Testimony may be submitted in three ways:
by writing (being sure to include the adjustment number “LU 16-136475”) to:

    1. “Setback and building length adjustment requests are not compatible with the neighborhood; physical relationship with south neighbors not addressed.”

      Adjustments that were granted to the developer included increasing the maximum building length allowed from 100′ to 146′, and reducing the setbacks from NE 53rd and the neighboring property to the south.
