Tabor Sewer Repair Project: Work through Oct. 20

Construction is continuing on Environmental Services’ Tabor Sewer Repair Project.
There will be construction phases at each location:
video inspection
saw-cutting
spot repairs
manhole replacement
pipe installation
lateral connection from each building to the curb
stormwater inlet replacement
temporary paving
final trench paving and restoration

CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE
The map posted at Tabor Sewer Project shows the anticipated construction schedule through October 20, 2017. Crews will be completing miscellaneous outstanding items such as manhole repairs, spot paving, and cleaning in multiple locations through October 20, 2017.

Scheduling final trench paving is highly dependent on paving subcontractor availability and weather. Our contractor will be working to secure paving crews during dry weather and will take advantage of unexpected openings in paving crew schedules to complete work as timely as possible. Residents should expect that work will begin on short notice, and there may be street closures for up to a week where concrete is poured.

Areas on the map, marked in gray, are currently not on the schedule or are not completed.
The construction schedules are subject to change due to underground conditions, weather, traffic impacts, subcontractor schedules and availability of materials.
