NTNA October 2022 General Membership Meeting and Election

The North Tabor Neighborhood Association is holding its annual general membership meeting and Board of Directors elections on Tuesday, October 18 at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom (Link, Meeting ID: 899 4001 3656).  All interested residents age 18 or older, property owners, non-profit organizations, and holders of a business license located within the NTNA boundaries are invited to attend.  A representative from Southeast Uplift will provide an overview of the purpose and role Neighborhood Associations play in Portland and will help facilitate the election process.

According to its bylaws, the primary purposes for which the Neighborhood Association is organized are:

  • To enhance the livability of the neighborhood and Portland by establishing and maintaining an open line of communication and liaison among the neighborhood, government agencies and other neighborhoods.
  • To provide an open process by which all members of the neighborhood may involve themselves in the affairs of the neighborhood.

If you are interested in getting involved in the community or learning more about the NTNA, please join us on Tuesday at 6:30pm.   Nominations for board members will be accepted prior to and at the general meeting.  Please email your interest in being on the October election to board@northtabor.org.
