September’s North Tabor Neighborhood Association meeting will feature Glenn Devitt, of Portland Prepares, Sunnyside Prepared and Friends of Portland NET, speaking on how we in North Tabor can be more prepared individually and together in the event of an emergency. Daniel DuFord, creator of the Green Man of Portland, and Sgt. Randy Teig, Neighborhood Response Team, will be featured speakers at the Tuesday, August 15, meeting of the North Tabor Neighborhood Association. North Tabor’s July neighborhood meeting will feature Mark Wells, City of Portland neighborhood watch coordinator, giving an overview of the Neighborhood Watch program, and Margaret Davis giving an update on United Neighborhoods for Reform.
North Tabor Neighborhood Association’s June meeting will feature several speakers: Multnomah County Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson, Clay Thompson from TriMet speaking on system safety and new artwork at the 60th MAX station, and Kristen Kibler from Bureau of Environmental Services with an update on neighborhood sewer work.
