I'm also attaching a bylaws template and a resource document that outlines what changes must be made to be in compliance with the Standards for NAs for your reference.
I agree, you should keep the document simple to avoid any issues complying with the language set forth in your bylaws. I am happy to review a draft or meet with a committee to give you feedback as you move along in this process.
