My son initiated this idea by putting together a simple text for North Tabor around an outline of our area.  We couldn't think of what to fill in the map with, what would be symbolic of North Tabor Neighborhood.  The problem being that North Tabor is a lot of things to each and every person who lives or works here.  Then the next morning I woke up (at o dark thirty in the morning) with the idea that maybe the map should be left blank--to represent the fact that our neighborhood is a blank slate to do whatever we have the ideas and energy to accomplish.  The blank map surrounded by North Tabor could be the unifying design for the neighborhood yet have the flexibility to fill in the map with whatever would suit the purpose at hand.  I have used a bit of clip art to illustrate a couple of samples of how this could work.  I have no real attachment to any of the inner illustrations, font, borders, etc.--I just like the idea of North Tabor being a blank slate
