Thank you for joining the efforts of the NTNA Outreach Committee. Our current work groups include:

IRCO Partnerships: Working with the Immigrant & Refugee Community Organization to increase participation from new and traditionally underrepresented members of our community.

Fundraising: Seeking individuals to assist in developing fundrasing activities to promote the efforts of NTNA.

National Night Out: Planning underway for National Night Out events in August 2009

I am a Portland Police Lieutenant in charge of the Grand Floral Parade this year. I am trying something very different this year by decreasing the number of sworn police officers working the parade from 266 to about 80. In order to accomplish this, I am looking to replace a number of positions previously filled by officers with citizen volunteers from the community.

Sounds like the Providence Montessori School is willing to help plan/provide space for a neighborhood Night Out event in August!
