ANNUAL PROVIDENCE/NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING – Providence Portland Medical Center hosts an annual meeting for residents of North Tabor and Laurelhurst neighborhoods 7 pm, Wednesday, October 24, in the Cancer Institute Amphitheater at Providence Medical Center. Portland Medical Center, Laurelhurst Neighborhood Association and North Tabor Neighborhood Association have had a Good Neighbor Agreement for more than 15 years, and one of the benefits of the agreement is an annual meeting for updates. The agenda this year is an overview of hospitals services and programs including including use of Guest House, how to report parking issues, public eating facilities within the hospital, how the hospital operates in inclement weather, and the opening of expanded outpatient cancer services on the 11th floor of the tower. The hospital is located at 4805 NE Glisan Street.
