Shirley reports new board members joining SUEL with same officers in position as last year.  Linda Nettakoven will work with SEUL in a “…. memory” role…keeping the wheels turning rather than re-inventing them.

SEUL was given anonymous unrestricted $4000 grant and is seeking matching funds from neighborhoods within the coalition.

Commissioner Adams announced need for neighborhood reps on a transportation committee.

Many upcoming neighborhood events/fairs in S.E. Coalition of neighborhoods.

Shirley talked about the challenges being faced in organizing a tenant council at Center Commons and asked for a continued commitment from C.N.A. Board to continue efforts there, especially as CC’s holds a large population of under-represented citizens.

No one to report.

No one to report.  Robert mentioned nothing new showing up recently on SEUL’s weekly update.

Upcoming effort to get the email lists up and running and discussion of phone tree; website via SEUL; next newsletter; postcard announcements to neighborhood; and local newspaper submissions.

Robert suggests that SEUL write letter to all Coalition NA’s including suggested donation based on size of NA.

Shirley has contact info.

More info @ www.southeastuplift.org

Shirley continues to work on the survey and the Outreach Committee continues to support tenants in reconvening their rep council.

Check-in with Judy or Martha.

Shirley will request letter from SEUL.

Lisa G. expressed interest in working on that committee.

Outreach Committee meets 1st Tuesday of month, Center Commons Senior Bldg. 6:30-8:30P

Need to call these gals to follow-up.
