5. Communications Committee Report |

7:30 pm Candice Jordan spoke of the sustainability of the newsletter. She needs help getting advertisers for the newsletter and help delivering the newsletter to cut down on the postage costs; otherwise the newsletter is not going to sustain itself financially. It costs about $1300 total for mailing and printing each issue (every other month). The newsletter gets a subsidy of $275 from the NTNA General checking account if necessary and it has been necessary for the last few issues. Cathy Riddell spoke up about her need for help with articles and proofreaders and the need for content to come in a timely manner. The next deadine (for the September-October issue) is August 15. Sam Gollah volunteered to work with Candice in getting ads and he and Mark Lysgaard volunteered to help deliver papers next issue. Zach reported that Christin Huja would like to join the Communications Committee. |
