Monthly Meeting

Board Members present: Sarah Mongue, Robert Jordan, Zach Michaud, Lisa Maddocks, Patty Lackaff, Chuck Tubens, and Keith Dechant
Board Members absent: Lars Kasch (taking a leave of absence for the summer), Stephanie Kaza, Sam Fuqua and Suzanne Gardner

I. Call to Order and Introductions (Robert):
– Called to order 6:35
II. Approval of Agenda
– Patty motioned and Lisa second
III. Approval of April meeting minutes (Robert):
– With corrections, Robert motioned and Lisa and Zach seconded
VI. Treasurer Report/Clean-up Report (Patty):
– After expenses from May 21st $2189.69
VII. Land Use/Transportation Report (Lisa/Lars):
– Did not attend meeting
IX. Mandala Project (Zach):
– Big/Huge success.
– Financial help from NTNA really made the project successful
– 30-50 folks throughout the day showed up.
– Have lots of yellow and red paint
– Maybe have a touch-up party next year 2020
– Patty and Zach need to put together a final budget of expenses for the board
X. Communications Report (Keith):
– Will put photos of the mandela up on the web site – day of pictures
– Banner repair info from Cathy Riddell
– Map of where the banners are located.
– Facebook inquiry inbox of messages – what do we do with these messages – Patty calling the company on how the banners can be serviced and what the pricing will
XI. New Business
– Neighborhood Night Out
– Pocket Aug 3rd
– Judy Kennedy planning a party as well
– Barricades might be free this year, but NTNA could pay for the $50 fee – Emilie House and neighbors have been having issues. Need to be funneled to the Providence Good Neighbor Committee.
– Happy Market starting to be developed (53rd and Glisan)
– Old Bigs Chicken development has started (57th and Glisan)
