Board Members present: Sarah Mongue, Robert Jordan, Patty Lackaff, Keith Dechant, Stephanie Kaza, Lars Kasch, Kim Kasch, Suzanne Gardner, Lisa Haddocks, Greg Scott and CJ Alicandro

Board Members absence: Lars Kasch, Kim Kasch, Suzanne Gardner, Chuck Tubbens and Sam Fuqua

Guests: Linda Ballerby, Juli Unger, Ross Hiner, Kim Hiner, Tom Thomas, Danae Haumec and Krista (?) and Mandee Campos

II. Introduction:

  • Went around the Zoom Meeting.

III.  Approve Agenda:

  • Motion Robert, Lisa Seconds
  • All approved

IV. Approval of December Meeting Minutes:

  • With corrections
  • Robert moved, Stephanie seconded
  • All approved with Lisa Maddocks abstaining

V. Treasure Report (Patty)

  • $2589.98 in our coffers

VI. SEUL Update (Stephanie):

  • Community Dialogue Grants
  • Small grants for Community Projects
  • Communications grant $500.00 to $1000.00 for NT and Community Partners – February 8th 10-12PM and 11th 6-8PM workshops for all grants. Should have someone attend. Scott said he would attend one session.

VII. Communications Report (Keith):

  • Created Google Drive account with folders.
  • Look at the MTNA newsletter for ideas on how we can get a newsletter going.
  • Juli Unger and Stephanie Kaza to meet and get some ideas on creating a newsletter that will go out to our list of folks (110).

VIII. Land Use/Transportation (Lisa)

  • Attended the Bicycle Advisory Committee meeting
  • They talked about making biking safe, connecting neighborhoods and discussed closing streets
  • Bikeportland.org

IX. New Business:

  • Multnomah County Chair Review Committee seeking applications – looking for new members – applications are due March 1, 2021. This committee reviews the city’s charter.
  • Hawthorne Blvd Repave Project – Part of the Rose Lane Project – https://www.portland.gov/transportation/planning/se-hawthorne-pave-and-paint#!/action=viewmore&type=latestPages
  • KATU Top Concerns Request
  • Deadline for submissions to Southeast Examiner 1/20/21 – Robert will type up and get to Kim Kasch to forward
  • Streamlining the process for responding to emails to the Board – moved to February meeting.
