Monthly Meeting

Board Members present: Patty Lackaff, Sarah Mongue, CJ Alicandro, Lisa Maddocks and Ross Hiner

Board Members absent: Suzanne Gardner, Robert Jordan, Greg Scott, Kim Kasch, Lars Kasch, Stephanie Kaz, Jules Unger

IV. Approval of November 11, 2011 Meeting Minutes

  • No Quorum
  • Moved to next month

V. Treasure Report (Patty)

  • $2864.08 balance in checking

VI. SEUL Update – (CJ and Kim)

  • Nancy Champlin – new Executive Director
  • Need more board members
  • City level grants are 1 year, instead of 5 year
  • Trying to redesign how they run as an organization with third party help.

VII.  Communications (Jules and Sarah)

  • Sarah Google Drive archive and will get with Jules to be back up for newsletter
  • Suzanne doing Facebook and NextDoor updates
  • Jules doing web pages and newsletter

VIII. New Business

  • SEUL – Update (Kim and CJ)
  • Discuss proposed Bylaw changes
  • Review of bylaws
  • January meetings need to talk about population attendance area, board member requirements and election term requirements that might need to be changed. Ross and CJ will add that to the January meeting.
  • 52nd Ave Development Tour – Report Back
  • Two bedroom 2.5 baths units $2600-$1800 a month
  • 55th and Glisan St Development – invite developer to present – Patty will reach out
  • Sarah will reach out to PBA to see who we can get to present the new City of Portland Charter changes for next year's ballot.
