Monthly Meeting

Board Members present: Sarah Mongue, CJ Alicandro, Suzanne Gardner, Ross Hiner, Kim Kasch, Lars Kash and Lisa Maddocks

Board Members absent: Patty Lackaff, Robert Jordan, Jules Unger, Stephanie Kaza and  Kim Bandy(NTNA SEUP Liaison)

5. Approval of April 19 and May 15, 2022 Meeting Minutes

  • No meeting minutes for June or July.
  • Move to discuss May meeting minutes to September.
  • Kim motion to approve the April meeting minutes, Lisa seconds the motion.
  • 6 Yes, 1 abstain

6. Treasurer’s Report (Patty)

  • $2,770.43 balance
  • $500 for Communications Fund Grant.

7. Land Use and Transportation (Lisa and Ross)

  • No updates

8.  Communications (Jules and Sarah)

  • No updates. Sarah is learning about WordPress and getting more comfortable.

9. SEUL Update – (Kim)

  • No update

10.  New Business:

  • Position of Chair available (CJ)
  • Ross Hiner volunteered for Chair. Move item for vote to September.
  • Vice-Chair position will be opened. Move item for vote to September.
  • Joint Cleanup with Mt Tabor NA? (Ross)
  • Ross reached out to Mt Tabor NA and will try to attend tomorrow’s meeting to get more information.
  • Development at 55th and Flanders (Patty) – move to September agenda meeting.
  • “Local Business Spotlight” – JT Market? (Lisa) – move to September agenda meeting.
  • President of the Laurelhurst NA reached out to Ross & CJ about creating a Neighborhood Forum – January time frame. Invite elected officials from City, County and Metro. Talk about hot topics.
